- تعتبر الرئة هي أخف عضو في جسم الإنسان.
2-Turritopsis nutricula is a genus of jelly fish which is also regarded as the immortal jelly fish. This is because these species have the ability to transform back into juvenile form once they mate after becoming sexually mature.
- Turritopsis nutricula هو نوع من الأسماك الهلامية التي تعرف أيضا باسم السمك الهلامي الخالد ,وذلك لقدرة بعض انواعها على التحول مرة أخرى إلى الشكل البالغ جنسياً للتزاوج.

- كوكب زحل لديه كثافة أقل من كثافة الماء, ولذلك فإنك إذا ألقيته في المحيط فإنه بالفعل سيطفو فوق الماء !

- نحن نعلم جميعاً أن الضوء يستغرق 8 دقائق ليصل من الشمس إلى الأرض, ولكن الغريب أنه يختاج إلى وقت كبير جدا يصل إلى 30،000 سنة لينتقل من لب الشمس إلى سطحها!

- في كل عام,سقوط ثمار جوز الهند من على الأشجار يتسبب في قتل الناس أكثر مما تفعله أسماك القرش!

- قم بشراء ثعبان البحر الكهربائي الموجود في أمريكا الجنوبية,وخفض قيمة فاتورة الكهرباء لديك,فهذا المخلوق لديه القدرة على إنتاج 600 فولت من الكهرباء ,ما يكفي لشل حصان!
12- Our worry for the ever diminishing oil and natural gas reserves on Earth could have been dealt with if only man could go to Titan, one of Saturn's moon. This place has 100 times more of such resources.
- من الممكن التعامل مع القلق الناجم عن نقص الموارد الطبيعية والغاز الطبيعي في كوكبنا ,إذ أننا يمكن أن نذهب إلى قمر "تيتان" وهو أحد أقمار زحل, فهذا القمر,لديه موارد طبيعية أكثر من 100 مرة من التي لدينا على كوكب الأرض.

- من المعروف أن الجسم البشري لديه 206 عظمة ,ولكن الطفل الرضيع يكون لديه 300 عظمة تتناقص بإستمرار مع تقدم العمر .

- 67،000 ميلا في الساعة هي السرعة التي تدور بها الأرض حول الشمس ,فهل تتخيل إننا نتحرك بهذه السرعة الآن؟!
15- If you want to grow taller, say by 2 inches, have a trip into the space. As there is no gravity, the spine becomes free to elongate up to 2 inches. The same happens when we are sleeping, except that the spine stretches up to 1 or 2 cm.
- إذا كنت تريد ان يزداد طولك ,بحوالي 2 بوصة,فيجب أن تقوم بنرلة إلى الفضاء,فالعمود الفضائي لديك سيتمدد لحوالي 2 بوصة,ويحدث هذا الأمر عندما نكون نائمين إلا أن الجسم يتمدد وقتها إلى 1 أو 2 سم.
16- In ancient times, leeches were used as weather forecasters. When they were kept in water jars, they seemed to stay at the bottom during calm weather. It so happened that, when the storms approach, these creatures rose quickly to the top, and descend as the storms passed.
- في العصور القديمة,كان العلق يستخدم في تحديد الأرصاد الجوية,فكان يحتفظ بها في قدر به ماء, فإن كان الطقس هادئاً فإن العلق يبقى في أسقل القدر, وإن كانت هناك عواصف فإن تلك الكائنات ترتفع بسرعة إلى أعلى ,وتنزل مرة أخرى عند مرور العاصفة.
